Southeast Healthcare and NAMI Franklin County Launch New Family Support Group Collaboration

Southeast Healthcare is proud to announce an exciting new collaboration with NAMI Franklin County to expand access to the NAMI Family Support Group – a vital resource for family members, loved ones, and supportive others of adults living with mental illness. This peer-led support group is for those 18 years of age and older and offers a safe, confidential space to seek and offer wisdom, connect with others who share similar experiences, and gain valuable insights into navigating mental health challenges within families.

NAMI Franklin County has been running family support groups for over 15 years, fostering a strong community of individuals who understand the unique challenges of supporting a loved one with mental illness. With the launch of this collaboration, the support group is transitioning to a newly structured hybrid model, allowing attendees to join in person or virtually via Zoom, further enhancing its impact.

The NAMI Family Support Group meets twice monthly, on the second and fourth Wednesdays, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Trained professionals from NAMI Franklin County and Southeast Healthcare will co-facilitate each session, ensuring a supportive and well-guided experience.

  • Second Wednesdays: In-person at NAMI Franklin County, 1225 Dublin Rd, Columbus, OH 43215
  • Fourth Wednesdays: In-person at Southeast Merion Village, 1455 S Fourth St, Columbus, OH 43207
