Local Nonprofit Changes Name to Better Serve Central Ohio and Surrounding Counties

Southeast Healthcare, a local nonprofit organization that has provided comprehensive mental health, chemical dependency, healthcare and homeless services in central Ohio for more than four decades, has a new public-facing name.

The legal name of the organization is Southeast, Inc., however, to better align with today’s programs and services and to position them for future change and growth, they are now doing business as Southeast Healthcare.

The new name comes with a new, enhanced brand, including new corporate colors and logo, creating a more unified look, which highlights and promotes the shared strengths and values that have infused the organization since its inception in 1978.

“Because our organization has grown and evolved over the years, we feel this new name and enhanced brand are a much better representation of the shared values and the bonds we have with our employees, patients and partners,” said Bill Lee, CEO of Southeast Healthcare.

The new logo builds upon Southeast’s strong history, including the icons that are already associated with Southeast, such as the globe in Southeast’s Recovery Sculpture, which reflects the courage of millions of people living with severe and persistent mental illness.

Some other exciting changes you will see include an enhanced online presence with a new website (www.southeasthc.org) and new marketing materials.
